If you are thinking of hosting a single or multi-day wedding event in the Sierra Mountains, it’s more affordable than you think and a great guest experience. Camp Sylvester’s amphitheater and picnic area, resting under the tall pine trees, is an ideal backdrop for weddings and the main dining hall is perfect for event meals and festivities.

Camp Rental

Amenities for up to 175 guests


$2,400 per night

Facilities and Lodging Included


  • All rentals are for the exclusive private use of Camp Sylvester and its facilities.

  • Lodging included with all reservations for the first overnight (45) guests. Additional guest lodging is available at $35 per person, per night.*

  • Capacity for up to (175) total guests.

  • (2)-Night minimum.

  • Reception hall, plus outdoor dining options, with tables, chairs, and tableware included with rental.

  • Dance/DJ equipment included with rental.

  • No charge for day-use guests who are staying overnight off-site.

  • Beer and wine welcome.

  • Catering and vendor service recommendations available, but not required for use.

  • Wedding event reservations offered the 2nd weekend in August through the 3rd weekend in May annually.

  • General Check-In Time 3:00 PM

  • General Check-Out Time 1:00 PM

    *Lodging rate $12.50, plus $1.50 Tuolumne County Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT); facility rate $21.00 per person, per night. Total group accommodation rate is $35 combined.

The Pinecrest area features tall pines, beautiful vistas, and a large lake. You can also find plenty of trails and small streams to enjoy the quieter side of nature.

Our venue is equipped with everything you need to host a successful event. Running water, power, indoor dining, etc. We also host an outdoor theatre, indoor halls, campfires, and more. See what we offer here.

Our facilities not only feature adequate amenities for serving a wedding, but it is also centrally located in the Pinecrest area. This allows convenient access to the area’s top tourist attractions. Not to mention, our camp is the largest year-round facility in all of Pinecrest, and on flat ground for guest comfort.
