FFA Day of Service 2024

Service Day Projects:

1. Install concrete siding on back wall of Birch Cabin (8 persons).

2. Install and paint plywood paneling on back side panels of stage (6 persons, 2 cordless drills needed).

3. Power wash cabin heater vents (8 persons).

4. Windex clean interior and exterior cabin windows (4 persons).

5. Remove cob webs from around exterior of buildings (2 persons).

6. Dusting and wiping down surfaces in Chance Hall (8 persons).

7. Assemble cargo carrier (4 persons).

8. Assemble folding picnic tables set up at Gibson Hall (4 persons).

9. Demolish posts and concrete footing at Upper Girls Restroom (5 persons).

10. Dig up Lower Restroom sewer line (6 persons).

11. Remove Archery Range fence (4 persons).

12. Remove old paint and repaint Thiemann Hall roof eves (4 persons).

13. Paint window trim at Deboer Hall (2 persons).

14. Remove sports backstop (6 persons).

15. Remove Chance Hall umbrella ground mounts (2 persons).

16. Install wood studs at Deboer Hall (5 persons).

17. Dig electrical trench at Deboer Hall (4 persons).

18. Install restroom utility hooks (4 persons, 2 cordless drills needed).

19. Install post and rope fence barrier (8 persons).

20. Grounds clean-up (10) persons.

21. Build Sierra bunk bed (6 persons, 2 cordless drills needed).

Craftsperson Projects:

1. Black metal bolt down firewood rack, (2) units at 42”’T x 96’W x 18”D each.

2. Black metal firewood rack on 5” caster wheels, (1) unit, rack size 36” T x 48”W x 18”D.

3. Black metal theater bench back rest brackets, designed to under mount 6” x 8” wood bench.

4. Galvanized metal gabion wall bench seats, with redwood seat, (6-8) units at 18”T x 48” W x 24”D each.

5. Metal chairlift inspired indoor/outdoor seating, (2-4) units.

6. Large campfire cooking cauldron, (1-2) units.
